Three Year NE and RHP Degrees for STA-21 Students
Congratulations on being selected for the Seaman-to-Admiral-21 program – it is highly competitive, and this says a great deal about your intellectual capabilities and work ethic!
Here at Oregon State, in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Health Physics (NERHP), these are qualities we value highly in our students. Over the past 10 years we have averaged approximately six STA-21 students per year in our NE and RHP majors. Ninety-eight percent of these students have graduated on time (in three years or less), and many of them have been near the top of their classes. Because of our long history working with STA-21 students, we have developed specialized three-year degree plans for both of our majors. Oregon State also provides 45 credit hours for prior military service. We have a strong relationship with the NROTC unit on campus, and our advisors are familiar with the constraints of the STA-21 program. We have prepared a presentation describing life in Corvallis at Oregon State, and specifically the NERHP department.
